PO4

Phosphorus (PO4) is a mineral which is not only very important for the normal functioning of all of the cells in the human body but is also vital in the formation of new bone.

High levels of phosphorus (PO4) can be indicative of kidney failure, hemolytic anemia (destruction of red blood cells), low levels of calcium, hypoparathyroidism, liver disease, and bone or other cancers.

Low levels of phosphorus (PO4) can be indicative of high calcium or blood insulin levels, deficiency of vitamin D, hyperparathyroidism, sepsis, chronic alcohol abuse, and rickets.
