Aciphex

Aciphex is a medication used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other disorders involving excessive stomach acid. Aciphex can also be used to promote healing of damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid (erosive esophagitis). 


Aciphex works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach.


Possible side effect of Aciphex may include increased risk of bone fractures in the hip, wrist, or spine.
