Antivert is a medication used to treat nausea, vomiting and dizziness associated with motion sickness.  Antivert can also be used to treat vertigo associated with diseases affecting the vestibular system.

Antivert is an antihistamine which works by blocking the effects of the naturally occurring chemical histamine in human body.

Possible side effects of Antivert include drowsiness, dry mouth and on rare occasions, blurred vision. Since drowsiness may occur with the usage of this medication, patients should avoid driving a car or operating machinery. Alcoholic beverages should also be avoided while taking this medication.
